Dennis Hofer

Retired and am now enjoying Orlando Florida, the grand kids: Makana 16; Lauren 14; Devin 11; and Ashlyn 10, and last but not least enjoying Heritage Hills 55+ Retirement amenities, residents and resident excursions. Beth is Executive Vice President of Internal Audit and Due Diligence for Holiday Inn Corporation and Christine is Chief Technology Officer and CISO at Florida Crystals. We are enjoying our new friends and neighbors at Heritage Hills 55+. I have joined Central Florida HO Model Railroad Club.

I went to St. Vincent College after Norwin and transferred to Villanova University in September 1971. I graduated with a BSEE in May 1973. I married Debbie in January of 1973 and we have two grown daughters. I got my master's degree at University of Pittsburgh in 1979. After Villanova I started out at RCA in Camden, NJ. I moved to West Mifflin, PA (Westinghouse) April 1975 so my daughters were close to grandparents. Westinghouse transferred me to Carlsbad in January 1987 (www.WIPP.energy.gov). When Westinghouse imploded, we were bought by URS Corporation. I retired in 2011 and moved outside Denver CO and then to Orlando FL. Now I can watch the Steelers again (no more Broncos) as they are popular in Florida.
