In my own words for fun:
art, art and more art. I create what I enjoy and enjoy what I create. My works manifest themselves into functional forms of a whimsical nature that support and inspire each other to artistically enhance environments and as personal adornments.
my job:
I own and run a B&B specializing in artist workshops/retreats. I love the very talented, generous, interesting and interested people it brings into my special world.
favorite hot spots:
I am living my dreams. Having worked as a flight attendant for 14 years I consider myself well traveled but am very happy to be living in the tropical environment I envisioned for myself at a young age.
favorite things:
Creating art for me is challenging but the endless possibilities make it an integral part of how and why I enjoy each day. I look forward to the continuing process of learning how to get what I want instead of just getting what I get.
I am thankful for my health, my childhood and spell check. I’m thankful for the sensuous climate of the tropics in which I live. I’m thankful for flip flops and coincidences. I’m thankful for insect repellant and sunscreen. I’m thankful that here people spontaneously break into song like they do in musicals, whistle while they work...that some weeds look like flowers. I’m thankful for 'maybe'.
This is the best time of my life. The process of maturing is an art to be learned, an effort to be sustained. A great thing about getting older is getting your priorities straight. Time is not the enemy. Fear of change is. Getting started, keeping going, getting started again...in art and life, seems the essential rhythm. The art of creating never leaves me, however, I never take myself too seriously.

When in doubt, make a fool of yourself. There is a microscopically thin line between being brilliantly creative and acting like the most gigantic idiot on earth. So what the hell, leap. --Cynthia Heimel

If we listened to our intellect, we'd never have a love affair. We'd never have a friendship. We'd never go into business, because we'd be cynical. Well, that's nonsense. You've got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down.
- Ray Bradbury
The trouble with the rat race is that, even if you win, you're still a rat.~ Lilly Tomlin
