In Memory

Harry Walton

Harry C. Walton Jr., 74, of Westmoreland City, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. He was born Dec. 12, 1950, to Harry C. Walton Sr. and Naomi Walton (Dahlstrom). Harry lived in Westmoreland City and Biddle his entire life. He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his sister, Nancy Walton of Sebring, FL; his daughter, Heather Monzo (Dominick) of Greensburg; and his beloved granddaughter, Carmella Monzo. Prior to retirement, Harry worked as a fifth-grade teacher for the Norwin School District. He enjoyed watching old Western TV shows, cheering on the Steelers, hunting, fishing, driving his Mustang convertible, visiting his sister in Florida, spending time with friends over a Jim Beam and Coke at his favorite local bars, and attending Biddlefest. Harry was known for being like a cat with nine lives surviving many illnesses, a motorcycle accident, and even a helicopter crash into the ocean before ultimately being taken by kidney disease. The family extends special thanks to his caregiver and best friend, Carol Urbanek, as well as Amada Home Healthcare, Heartland Hospice, and his wonderful neighbors for their care and compassion. In accordance with Harry's wishes, there will be no viewing or service. Arrangements are under the professional supervision of Natural Funeral Company, and he will be laid to rest at Irwin Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Norwin Area Meals on Wheels, 12735 Lincoln Way, North Huntingdon, PA 15642.
