John W. Saunders, 63, of Scottdale, formerly of Irwin, died Monday July 21, 2014. He was born January 31, 1951, a son of the late John H. “Jack” and Patricia (Wyncoop) Saunders and was also preceded in death by a sister Barbara Tubbs. He was a graduate of Norwin High School, class of 1968 and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a former salesman in the automotive industry and enjoyed finish carpentry. He is survived by his son Mark Saunders of Ohio, a sister Karen (Nick) Miniotis of Louisiana, and a brother William (Lori) Saunders of Jeannette; also nieces and nephews. At John’s request there will be no viewing or services. Private interment will be in Brush Creek Cemetery. William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
