Harry Gilbert

Harry Fuller Gilbert, 74, of Irwin, died Thursday, April 3, 2025, at home. He was born May 26, 1950 in Philadelphia, a son of the late S. Theodore and Audrey (Fuller) Gilbert, and was also preceded in death by his twin brother Theodore Carl Gilbert and brother-in-law George Hayden. He was a graduate of Norwin High School Class of 1968. Prior to retirement Harry was employed by Johnston the Florist. He was an avid sports fan and could be found, often with his brother, at many Norwin and later Penn-Trafford sporting events rooting passionately for his home team. If you didn't know Harry from sporting events you could often find him at one of his daily stops around the neighborhood. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Irwin. Harry is survived by his siblings Karen G. Hayden of Penn and Stephen J. (Bunchuay) Gilbert of Frederick, MD and nieces and nephews Paileen, Katie, Chris, and Andy. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, where a funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Doug Rehberg, officiating. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to Norwin Lady Knights Basketball Boosters c/o Harry's family.

list is getting longer.Boy the list in memory is getting longer, I remember Harry and Teddy from the band. They both played the clarinet.. prayers and thoughts for the family.
