So sad to lose another classmate. Sigh. I didn't know Rich well. But he communicated with us for the 50th reunion program. I decided to see if I could find a larger obituary than the Neptune Society one. But couldn't. But, I found this picture on his Facebook page. It says it was posted in 2018 and he wrote that it was 5 years old from when he taught school in Clark County School District, Las Vegas, Nevada. So, from 2013 I guess. Just thought I'd share. He hadn't changed much I don't think. He wrote in our reunion program that he had recently retired from teaching music. He was doing piano recording studio work at the time of our reunion. RIP Rich!
Rich was another IC classmate. He was a musician and used to play with a band on Sunday nights at the Lowber Fire Hall. He then moved to Las Vegas and I believe he played at one of the casinos before he started teaching. What I posted was the only obituary I found and only knew it was him because of his birth date.
My fondest memory of Rich was once when I was in Las Vegas in the late 70s. I was with a friend at a small casino off the strip. I then hear someone say "Sandy Rosso is that you" a few times. I thought I had possibly had one too many cocktails but I hadn't - it was Rich. We then talked quite a bit before the 40th as he wasn't sure he could make it but did. Yet another classmate gone too soon.
