Charles J. Sapp, 60, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at his home. He was born March 15, 1950, in Greensburg, a son of the late Charles Sapp and Elsie Gabony Sapp. Chuck was employed as a machinist for L & S Machine of Latrobe, and an avid classic and antique car enthusiast. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Navy In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Nick Perrino. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sandra Louise Perrino Sapp; his mother-in-law, Agnes Perrino, at home; a brother, Thomas Sapp and his wife, Judy, of Jeannette; two brothers-in-law, Jack Perrino and his wife, Diane, of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Nick Perrino, of North Huntingdon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Chuck from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Father James Hess officiating. Interment with full military honors accorded by the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may in memory of Chuck be made to a charity of ones choice.
